As in previous years, It's expected BrisSEC will sell out and we highly recommend purchasing your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets may not be available onsite on the day.
The conference venue is The Star Grand Hotel, 33 William Street, Brisbane.

The Star Brisbane is nestled right next to the banks of the Brisbane River and is a short stroll from the North Quay ferry stop. For further information on timetables and stops, please visit www.translink.com.au
FINGER WHARVES DOCKING ACCESS
Water vessels can pre-book docking access to Finger Wharves to allow passengers to board or disembark here. Please speak with our friendly concierge team if you require further information.
PEDESTRIAN AND BIKEWAY ACCESS
Pedestrians can easily access The Star Brisbane via William Street, Margaret Street and the George Street Foyer entrance. The Neville Bonner Bridge also connects South Bank to the Queen’s Wharf precinct and The Star Brisbane's The Terrace. Meanwhile the recently upgraded Bicentennial Bikeway runs along the river's edge adjacent to the precinct and will offer end of ride facilities.

The car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (subject to availability). Please note that we do not have parking available for tall vehicles (over 2.1m).

BrisSEC event check-in will open at 8:00am on Wednesday morning. On arrival, proceed to The Star Grand Events Centre to check-in and print your name badge.

The conference dress code is smart business.
Unfortunately, we do not offer childcare.
Security events present opportunities to learn, share knowledge and network. As a security event organiser, we believe these events should represent a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment for all people, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion, disability, socio-economic background, experience, size, shape and so on. No one should be subject to any harassment, bullying or abuse.
Any such behaviour will not be tolerated and we will take such action as we deem necessary to ensure it does not reoccur. This may include immediate removal from an event and a prohibition from attending future events. This Code of Conduct explains exactly what we mean by unacceptable behaviour and it outlines the steps someone subjected to such behaviour at an event can take to report it.
