Year of the Fire Horse: Cyber & Quantum Readiness

This year's PerthSEC conference theme Year of the Fire Horse: Cyber & Quantum Readiness.

The Year of the Fire Horse comes around only once every 60 years and represents bold action, rapid change and challenging the status quo.

A period of extraordinary velocity, fierce volatility and relentless momentum that has tested leadership globally, amplifying challenges to enterprise resilience.

Cyber incidents and systemic breaches have surged to the top of the board agenda. At the intersection of cyber security and operational continuity lies modern Cyber Incident Response Planning.

Under mounting regulatory scrutiny, enterprise preparedness extends far beyond IT restore times to encompass crisis management, business continuity, and complex third-party supply chain dependencies.

Inspire, challenge and equip others with ideas they can put into practice. Be bold. Share your expertise. Help shape Australia's cyber future.

PerthSEC Call for Speakers closes midnight, Friday 4 September 2026.
